.dsk file with up to at least 224MB - Third Party Link Provided
https://sites.google.com/site/minivmacapplicationsv6/
Quadra 900 or 950 Rom - Can’t Provide Link
Mac OS 7.1 or above Install or Boot Disk - Can’t Provide Link - Can Be Found In Above Websites

At least 1GB Of Free Space Should Be Available on Whatever Platform You Use This On

Use Mini vMac or Basilisk II to install Mac OS 7.5.5 - refer to YouTube for now until this Post gets updated

Once installed you can copy the .dsk file and place it in Fusion 3.0 folder. To make the disk compatible with Fusion change the file extension to .hfx or .HFX and save it. You can change the file extension back and forth as you please so that you can add files, games, and apps, to it later in Mini vMac but be sure to make a back up in case any data gets corrupted. Data corruption can be prevented by making sure to shut down each emulator when switching formats.

.HFX is also Compatible with Basilisk II - IMO Basilisk II isn’t as “user friendly” as Mini vMac but it does pack more features as Mini vMac only supports up Mac OS 7.5.5 and lacks CD-ROM Compatibility, which is required to install Mac OS 8.1 for use with Fusion 3.0 later

Duplicate This Disk For Use with Mac OS 8.1 We Will Need To Mount Both Disks In Basilisk II to update to 8.1 - This is necessary because we will need to transfer all files after the Mac OS 8.1 update to this disk but they can’t be the disk the system is booted from or it won’t copy all required files.

How To Run Mac OS 8.1 in Fusion 3.0

Things You Need

Fusion 3.0
Mac OS 8.1 Install CD - should be .iso - Can’t Provide Link
Basilisk II - Third Party Link Provided
Mini vMac - Explain Later - I Know 8.1 Isn’t Compatible

After installing Mac OS 7 to a .dsk create a new disk in Basilisk II with at least 300MB
Mount the Mac OS 8.1 Install CD .iso and Mount 1 of your 2 .hfx disk and click start
If proper settings are used Basilisk should boot Mac OS 7, tell you to initialize the hard disk and you should have the install cd mounted on your desktop
Run the setup and install it to newly formatted hard drive then copy all files from the drive to a folder and place it on desktop you can call it Mac OS 8 for now, make sure it is being copied to .hfx you created with Mini vMac and not new hard drive.
Restart Basilisk
Restart Basilisk II with hard drive as boot and Mount Both .hfx we got from Mini vMac
Upon restarting you should notice that Mac OS 8.1 is running which is great most would be happy here but to get it to work with Fusion we need to do one a couple more steps
Next we must copy all Files from inside Mac OS 8 Folder we made and copy those files to the root of our 2nd .dsk or .hfx partition on Mac OS 7 this will replace ALL system files in our partition once we load this into fusion it will load up 8.1 to test it out restart Basilisk with just the 8.1 .dsk or .hfx partition and if it loads then your done depending on what file extension you used with Basilisk all you have to do now is copy the .hfx in Fusion and boot from be sure to change the extension to .HFX if it has been changed

How To Run Fusion 3.0 in MS-DOS and DOSBox

File How To Run Fusion In DOSBox and MS-DOS

Things You Will Need...
Fusion 3.0 - Compatible with MS-DOS - Used To Emulate Mac OS 7.x to 8.1
Batch file or .bat to Run Fusion - This is optional but it makes running easier
DOSBox 0.74 - Windows, Mac, Linux
-or-
iDOS 2, PowerDOS - iOS iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch 0.99$ in App Store
I have found that iDOS 2 hasn’t been updated in a while so it is not utilized for iOS 11.x, it works fine in landscape mode but the layout is kinda all over the place in portrait mode but it does work! It works flawlessly in iOS 9.x. PowerDOS Works Fine in all tested firmwares.
-or-
DOSBOX Turbo, anDOSBox, aDOSBOX - Android Play Store / Market

First Let’s Start By Creating A .bat File. Place this .bat file in the “C:\” drive that DOSBox Uses. For the purpose of this demonstration we’ll name it “f.bat” and we’ll be using it with PowerDOS. Do not include quotation marks in file name

In a text document place this command inside the .bat and save it. I will provide 2 examples...

In “f.bat” - This will launch setup which you can also use to launch Fusion

cd fusion30
setup

In “f1.bat” - This will launch Fusion ‘Automatically’

cd fusion30
fusion

Next we place this these files in ‘C:\’ Drive and Launch PowerDOS

Once PowerDOS loads simply type “F” -or “F1” and hit enter or return and Fusion 3.0 should start to load.

If You Mac OS 7-8 Installed It should start to load

How To Install Windows 10 on a MacBook Pro 2009 [COMPLETE GUIDE]

How to install Windows 10 on a MacBook Pro 2009 [Complete Guide]

This guide is constantly being updated. New information or charges to this blog may occur at any time. Please check back frequently for these updates. These guides take a lot of research, time, and development to produce.

This guide will show you how to install Windows 10 on a MacBook Pro 2009 and have all Features, Drivers, and Boot Camp working properly!

I will explain how to get past all or most errors effectively; What things to avoid doing when trying to install Windows 10 on the 2009 MacBook Pro. I will also explain some quick fixes and bypasses for these errors. Please keep in mind they are really temporary fixes to the actual software/hardware problem at hand.

-DISCLAIMERS-

The 2009 MacBook Pro has a 64Bit Architecture Processor. It is Recommended that you install 64bit versions of Windows for best results. Although 32bit versions of Windows will work on this particular device, keep in mind that you can only have a maximum of 4GB of installed Ram and you are under utilizing the CPU Performance And will be noticed drastically when playing games and using Video Editing Software such as Adobe Creative Studio. This is NOT vice-verse if you have a 32bit computer, for example, the 2006 MacBook, you can only install 32bit versions of Operating Systems or Software. This is not true for all software, but most will not run or run poorly compared to software written for the 64bit architecture on a 64bit Processor.

A few things I would like to mention is that you CANNOT start from Windows 10 and have everything work properly as one would expect. This is because when doing so you will run into devastating errors, or failure, in other terms; that cannot be fixed or remedied without the reinstallation of the Operation System.

Versions of Windows Recommended Windows 7 Ultimate And Windows 10 Pro

You will not be able to run the Boot Camp setup.exe in Windows 10
It will claim that Boot Camp is not compatible with the version of Windows it’s running on and can only be ran in Windows 7.

Changing compatibility modes will not fix this error and running as administrator will not fix this error either. However, you can install the drivers individually but you can not get the native Boot Camp Application that can be found in the Control Panel and Taskbar.

DO NOT INSTALL ANY GRAPHICS DRIVER IN WINDOWS 10!! Unless you have started from Windows 7 and installed them there. If you have Started in Windows 10, you will not be able to reboot with these drivers installed.

Do NOT Connect to the Internet in Windows 10 if you started in Windows 10 because it will try to use Windows Updates to install an Update and one of those Updates (specifically Nvidia Display Driver, GeForce 9400M Graphics Drivers) will brick your install, and you will need to restart from Windows 7.

When Windows Updates goes to install/update the MacBook Pros, Nvidia GeForce 9400M Graphics Drivers, upon restarting it will break your Operating System install. You will need to reinstall Windows 7/10 specifically for this reason.

A get around to this would be to not install any Graphics Drivers located in the Boot Camp Folder, install an application like this > Show/Hide Update Package Tool < from Microsoft that will stop or block the install of that specific Windows Update. The only drawback is that it has to already be found by Windows Update in order for it to block the Update. One option you have is to go into Windows Update and search for Updates and wait until it can find as many updates as possible and then run the Tool to BLOCK the Nvidia GeForce 9400M Display Driver So That Windows Updates Never Tries To Install this. As far as I know (specific to this device) that’s the only Update you will need to block.

Alternatively, another option is to keep Wi-Fi off as much as possible so Windows Update can’t find any Driver Updates and try to Install them. Also turning off Automatic pdates will make it harder for Windows Update to Download these Drivers. You will also have lack of a Dedicated Graphics driver installed, so Video and Graphic Animations will run very poorly and if you haven’t yet manually changed the resolution, it will stay in the unpleasant 800x600 screen resolution. This makes Windows look more zoomed in with less surface area, it also appears blotchy and distorted.

You will need an external mouse! This is very important later on, and you should not continue installing Windows 10 using this method if you do not have one. Although contradicting this guide, performing a clean, fresh install of Windows 10 will prevent this error, but you will eventually run into the same errors mentioned earlier in this guide, thus making Windows 10 unusable.

INSTALLING WINDOWS

The only way to bypass all these errors and have a completely successful install of Windows 10 is to ironically install Windows 7 as normal and install all drivers from there I will explain why later...then Update to Windows 10. There’s a catch you cannot do both installs and have everything work still you will run into an entirely different issue.

The reason we want to update  from Windows 7 is because Windows 10 will keep all files and programs already installed and integrate them to work with Windows 10 this bypassing the Boot Camp setup.exe failure and bypassing the Nvidia Graphics Drivers Install Failure. But there is still one more problem...

When you update to Windows 10 some of the drivers installed will be uninstalled or changed a little. Once at the Desktop locate your Boot Camp Drivers Folder And manually install all or any missing or non-working drivers and Restart Your Computer.

Upon Restarting you will notice that the TrackPad no longer works. There’s is a Fix But it requires the use of an external Mouse whether Wired or Wireless With a USB Dongle. A Bluetooth Mouse will not work if it wasn’t set-up before you Restarted The Computer, after you reinstalled the drivers manually; as you will not have a way to control the U.I. To navigate to that option to enable it, unless you were really good using just the keyboard to navigate in Windows.

Next you go to the Control Panel and navigate to Device Manager. You need to find the drivers for the Apple Multitouch TrackPad and Keyboard (Optional) and completely uninstall them. After uninstalling them simply Restart your Computer and everything will now be fully working and you can now reinstall the TrackPad Drivers if they weren’t already reinstalled upon Restarting.

If you installed all drivers in Windows 7 you will have the best Compatibility, but make sure BEFORE Windows 10 is Installed that all Boot Camp And MacBook Pro Drivers and the Native Boot Camp App is Installed and Running/Present in Taskbar or Control Panel and the Nvidia Graphics Driver is Already Installed And the Computer has already been Restarted in Windows 7, effectively embedding these updates.

You can Update Windows 7 Using a RETAIL CD Version of Windows 10, Utilizing the built-in CD/DVD Drive the MacBook Pro comes with. If you don’t have one (like me) you can use Microsoft’s Media Creation Tool to download the Windows.iso and Mount the Windows.iso Using DEAMON TOOLS LITE to Run and Install the Update.

IN ORDER TO UPDATE AND KEEP ALL FILES AND APPS YOU WILL NEED TO BE BOOTED INTO WINDOWS 7 AND RUN THE SETUP FROM THERE IF YOU BOOT FROM CD/DVD DRIVE OR USB IT WILL PROMPT FOR A CLEAN INSTALL OF WINDOWS 10.

At this point if you followed the guide completely you should have a complete install of Windows 10.

How To Add OEM Keyless Entry To GM Vehicles That Did Not Originally Come With Keyless Entry

How To Add OEM Keyless Entry To GM Vehicles That Did Not Originally Come With Keyless Entry Factory Installed

Here I am going to explain why you don't have Keyless entry, how to tell whether or not you have Keyless Entry installed, and how to add the factory option without use of an aftermarket alarm system.

How To Tell If You Have Keyless Entry Installed.

There's a very simple way to determine if you Keyless Entry or not all you have to do if call a certified GM dealership and provide them with your Vin number so that they can look up what features were given to the vehicle when it was born or sold. Or you can try this trick, here you take paperclip or conductive wire (ex. Copper) and you connect to your DTC port or Diagnostic Trouble Codes Port or OBDII Port and connect the top row of Pin 4 to Pin 8. The top is wider than the bottom on the port itself. The split second you do this the doors should lock and unlock or vice-versa Thus going into Keyless Entry Programming mode. If nothing happens You Don't Have Keyless Entry Installed. Continue Reading...

Why you don't have Keyless Entry

Keyless entry is not a standard option therefore if you did not request it at the dealership the day you purchased the vehicle or it didn't come as a standard option or included package then you won't have Keyless Entry. If you vehicle does not come with power locks to begin with you will not have Keyless Entry. If your Keyless Entry Receiver or as GM defines "Remote Function Activation Module" is bad you will not have Keyless Entry. If you don't have a key fob or your key fob has a dead battery you won't have Keyless Entry.

How to Add Keyless Entry (Aftermarket)

To Add Keyless Entry (Aftermarket) you would simply purchase an aftermarket Keyless Entry/Remote Start system like Viper, AutoPage, or even Avital.  Wire it up following a scematisc and set up the provided key fob. If you are unable to do this you can take you vehicle to auto electronics specialist and have them install whichever system you provide for you for a fee.

How to add Keyless Entry (Factory(Equipped)

If you vehicle does have Keyless Entry but it is not enabled or you lack a key fob or you key fob is not programmed then all you simply have to do is take a paper clip or conductive wire and connect pin 4 to 8 or your vehicles DTC port once the doors lock and unlock very quickly on the key fob you want to use with the vehicle press and hold the lock and unlock button simultaneously for 15-20 seconds doors should lock and unlock confirming key fob is now pair to vehicle then put your key in turn it to "ignition on engine off" then back off and remove paperclip to exit Programming then your all set. You should now have Factory Keyless Entry working you MAY have to repeat this process should your key fobs battery go bad again.

How To Add More than One Keyless Entry Remote
Insert paperclip or conductive wire into DTC port then press and hold lock and unlock or first key fob for 15-20 after the doors lock and unlock confirming sync quickly press lock and unlock simultaneously on the second keyfob for 15-20 seconds until the doors lock and unlock comfirmcon sync effectively repeating the last step, once all key fobs are programmed up to 4 or 5 depending on vehicle you must exit Programming by insert your key into the ignition and and turning it to the "ignition on engine off" position and back off and remove paperclip clip and your all set.

How To Add OEM Keyless Entry To GM Vehicles That Did Not Originally Come With Keyless Entry Factory Installed

If your vehicle does not come with Keyless Entry Factory Installed but you don't want to use and aftermarket then your job just got a lot harder but nevertheless it can be done despite what some will say this should not require a dealership to enable the feature.

You will first need to locate what is called the RKE. You may find a video on YouTube or online pertaining to your vehicle that will show it's location, part number, and appearance. But if your vehicle doesn't have the feature then this part won't be there instead in it's location will be a bypass or just simply nothing you will need to go to a dealership or junkyard to obtain this part if your lucky the connector is there but it has a cover or bypass on it thus disabling the feature and you would simply install it and your done. But you notice a bypass which will most likely have a different connector with less wires the you will need to replace your accessories wiring harness.

This wiring harness connects most of the  the accessories of your vehicles on the same part which will essentially determine what features your vehicles has and can add later. In order to obtain this harness you will need to find a vehicle that has Keyless Entry and remove the harness from there and install it to your vehicle it is the only way. This method will involve removing the seats dash trim and panels depending on which vehicle you own.

The vehicle this was researched from myself was a 2001 Chevrolet Express 3500 with donor parts coming from a 2002 Chevrolet Express 3500 Both Vehicles Had Power Locks And Windows but the 2001 did not have Keyless Entry because the harness did not support the Remote Module required to enable the function.

So after changing the harnesses it worked instantly no scanners no resets I actually replaced the harness with the original one still in the vehicle while listening to the vehicle entertainment systems in it's factory location to avoid removing the entire dashboard you need to remove the brake pedal bracket assembly to fit the nessasaryy wires in there factory locations in the vehicle.

I will post pictures for the non-believers and a video outlining where the parts go and what is there instead when you don't have Keyless entry
This is the Keyless Entry Module in it's factory location (inside the van right above engine cover on the top left side mounted on the firewall) shown above...
This is the Interior Lamp Control on a factory GM Floor Mat this Is Located in the same location as the Receiver But will only be present if you vehicle does not have Keyless Entry installed

Harness Picture coming soon
Upon doing more research and inspecing different Vehicles with Keyless I found that the Keyless Entry module for the Chevy Tahoe will also work with Chevy Express and vice-versa the part number is different but upon disassembly I found that they only difference between the two part numbers with that the one referenced for the Chevy Express has wire for an antenna with the Chevy Tahoe uses a "filament" antenna prong sodered to 2 ends of the board
